Dark Forces I [1995]
The first game that created the entire Jedi Knight series. Released in 1995, made a strong approach in the first-person shooter PC games like Doom and Quake. Rather than playing straight through level to level, each mission follows a storyline based around the loving character, Kyle Katarn.
The best way to get this game to run is to use a Virtual Machine running DOS. I haven't tested this with DOSBox, so feel free to try it out.
Dark Forces II [1997]
The sequel to its first, which revolutionized the way we view first/third person view games today. Using its own unique game engine, Kyle Katarn is back and loaded to find the map to the Valley of the Jedi, only to find that the Dark Jedi Jerec is trying to obtain this map as well. Will you choose the light side, or the dark side?

If you have never played this game before, I recommend getting the one with cutscenes, or else you may not know what is going on.

[ NOTICE ] Only try this if the first 3 steps did not work for you !

Mysteries of the Sith [1998]
A rather successful expansion to Dark Forces II, Kyle Katarn is now 5 years past the events which occurred in Dark Forces II. Following the light side, Katarn is now a Jedi Master who takes on Mara Jade as his apprentice. As Imperial troops attack the Galactic bases, you switch off overtime using Kyle and Mara in this unique expansion pack.

THE DO'S AND DON'T OF USING DARK FORCES II / MYSTERIES OF THE SITH
- When pressing ESC during a level to pause, DO NOT press "Return to game" ! Your game will instantly crash! Just press ESC again.
- ALWAYS make save states in this game! Especially if you are going to be playing seriously. If you do not experience one single crash upon playing this game on a new system, you are a Demi God.
